Are Supre products tested on animals?
No, they are not.

Do any of Supre's tanning lotions or moisturizers contain mineral oils?
No, mineral oils can crack tanning beds and clog skin pores.

Should I tan indoors or out?
Indoor tanning provides a controlled UV environment and allows you to monitor UV exposure time to the minute.

Do I really need to use a tanning lotion when tanning indoors?
Yes. Supre's tanning lotions are specifically formulated for indoor use to hydrate, condition and enhance Melanin production in the skin during UV exposure for faster, darker tanning results and healthier skin.

How do I decide which tanning lotion to use?
Consult with your tanning salon professional to determine your skin type, tanning goals and specific skin care needs. Select the product that best fits this profile and your budget. All Supre accelerators, intensifiers and tan maximizers are designed to both develop a base tan and to dramatically darken an existing tan.

Can I use an accelerator, intensifier or maximizer outdoors?
Yes, if used in conjunction with an SPF. These products do not contain sunscreen and will not protect against sunburn.

How can I keep my skin healthy and make my tan last longer?
Maintaining the moisture level in the skin is essential to a longer-lasting tan and healthier-looking skin. Supre body washes gently cleanse and nurture skin without stripping essential moisture. Daily use of any of Supre's rich, hydrating body moisturizers will help prolong the life of a tan and help keep skin healthy and younger-looking.

What do hot (tingle) products do?
They help stimulate rapid circulation on the surface of the skin, creating an extreme redness and warming/tingling sensation to enhance the intensity and appearance of a tan. The effect is temporary and can last up to several hours.

Is there anyone who should not to use a hot product?
Yes. Hot products should not be used by beginner tanners or those with sensitive skin. Do not use hot products outdoors.

Should I use a hot product on my face?
No. The sensation is too intense for sensitive facial skin. We recommend washing hands after applying a hot product to avoid transfer to the face or other sensitive skin areas.

Does a hot product give you a sunburn?
No. It does create a temporary redness and warming sensation to the surface of the skin that can last up to several hours.

Will products that contain hemp cause me to fail a drug test?
No. The hulled hemp seed does not contain any THC. Supre tests every batch of every Hempz product to ensure there is no THC in our formulas.

What does a bronzer do?
It enhances the tanning process by allowing skin to further darken after UV exposure with sunless tanners that develop for up to 12 hours and can last up to 8 days.

What is the best way to apply a bronzer?
For best results, apply an even amount across entire body in a smooth, circular motion and remember to wash your hands after application!

Should I exfoliate before using a bronzer or sunless tanner?
Yes. Exfoliation helps remove dry skin cells, which absorb self-tan color and can refract UV-tanning rays, causing splotchiness and uneven results. We recommend Hempz Herbal Body Scrub for gentle exfoliation.

Should I moisturize before using a bronzer or sunless tanner?
Not for at least 2 hours before and 4 hours after application. Moisturizing can act as a barrier prior to sunless tanning, inhibiting full development of color, and moisturizing immediately after sunless tanning can cause streaking. All of Supre's bronzers and sunless tanning products provide moisturizing within the formula without interfering with the development of color.

How long should I wait to shower after using a bronzer or sunless tanner?
Wait at least 2 hours before showering, swimming or any activity that might create excess perspiration. This will ensure a smooth, even color and help prevent streaking.

How long does a sunless tan last?
It typically lasts from 3 to 5 days, and will start to fade as your skin exfoliates. You can extend your sunless tan with daily use of one of Supre's all day moisturizers.

If I have a sunless tan, do I still need to wear SPF when I am outdoors?
Yes. Sunless tans are artificial coloring of the skin and provide no protection from UV rays.
